Admiring the ones still hanging on, decorating with the autumn ones, planting the bulbs for the spring ones, loving them all basking in autumn light, and generally relishing how grateful I am that flowers - appreciation for and fascination with - flowers, is just part of the way I think. Part of me πΌ

My landscape paintings are not about recreating a specific scene or depicting a particular place, but more a process of translating a feeling - capturing the energy and spirit of land and sky - then sharing what I see in my heart through colour and brushstroke. Or something like that π
